The Bible speaks about the rapture of Gods' people as one of the significant events of the end times of human history (Mt. 24:40, Lk. 17:34). How will those remaining on the earth explain this sudden disappearance of so many people? One likely explanation will be that aliens from another world have snatched them for some reason. If there really are advanced aliens living on other worlds, there could be any number of reasons for their wanting some humans, and since they are so advanced, surely they could take the humans without our detecting how they did it!

If evolutionary ideas are true, then there MUST be many other civilizations in the universe besides ours, and some of them MUST be older and more advanced then we are. Given the large number of popular movies and TV shows which feature alien civilizations, it is becoming increasingly inbred into our minds that aliens are real, and their presence in the universe is a natural thing to be expected. The current UFO phenomena is best explained by the "Demon Hypothesis" (UFO's are a manifestation of demonic activity), and it is the perfect setup for discounting the rapture and minimizing what should be its religious revival effects on those who remain. Satan's goal is to take people's attention away from God, and UFO's certainly do that.
